WE DON’T COACH EVERYONE.
We coach athletes who are ready to put in the work.
If you’re comfortable being average, we’re not the right fit for you.
You’re in the right place.
Your competition is already putting in the work. Are you?

Develop a strong athletic foundation that will help you perform consistently throughout a long and demanding season.
This program is designed for athletes who can commit to training 5–6 days a week and already have several years of structured training experience.
You have mastered the fundamental strength training movements, are comfortable training in a gym environment, and are ready to take your speed, explosiveness, strength, and endurance to the next level. The goal is to help you perform at your best throughout the season while reducing your risk of injury.
What I Wish I’d Known as a Young Player
I reached the highest level of hockey at a young age, playing for teams such as Oulun Kärpät, the Edmonton Oilers, the Carolina Hurricanes, and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Those environments are held to some of the highest standards in the hockey world.
But I learned one important lesson early on:
More isn’t always better.
When I was younger, my mindset was simple: if I trained more and trained harder, I’d become a better player. No one really taught me what to train, when to train, or how much training my body actually needed.
I learned those lessons later, the hard way.
Injuries, double hip surgery, and the long road back changed the way I think about training. Today, my focus isn’t on doing more. It’s about training with purpose, managing my workload, and understanding how the body performs, adapts, and recovers.
That’s the foundation of Is It Time Performance.
My training philosophy focuses on the qualities that make the biggest difference on the ice without unnecessary wear and tear:
-Speed and explosiveness that translate directly to game performance.
-Strength that supports your body instead of breaking it down.
-Smart training periodization that helps you keep improving throughout the season.
The idea is simple:
Every workout should move you closer to your goal. If it doesn’t, it’s just unnecessary fatigue.
Don’t make the same mistakes I did. Learn how to train the right way and improve faster, smarter, and with a lower risk of injury.
